Civ3 - Diplogame?

A week ago, and the game is halted for over a month now. I hate to admit it, but I'm getting a little impatient. I refuse to let a game die, even if it isn't a great start. When I commit I'll try to commit to the end, or will find a replacement/substitute.

I would like to request a substitute player for rasputin, for while he's away. Apparantly just to chop some jungle.

I noticed in the Absences/Temps Thread that you're looking for someone to take over Rasputin's civilization. I can fill in for him if you all wish....but if Ras is the Admin for this game, how will I get his passoword to play his moves? - Unless, of course, Ras just goes ahead and email's me his password....but with him being gone for a month now, I'm wondering how likely that would be...

Padders - looks to me as if you had the save last - 2670BC. The last I have is certainly 2710BC.

It's in the middle of the night for MWIA, he won't be able to respond really fast. Nevertheless, we're at 18.6 hours pp. Let's see how fast we can bring that average down. (the turnorder is not the most logical, but that won't stop us...)

This might explain why Rasputin was so fed-up with the game - he could never seem to get anywhere in clearing the jungle tiles since the game didn't move forward!
