a suggestion is to open a folder in your Outlook

call it: PBEM Thread Links

in this email, place one copy of each game email

that way you always have a quick and current link to each pbem game that you are in

if so, maybe you should head down to some of the gin palaces that (should) be in the area, and get yourself shattered (opps, a nice quiet drink....)

2 suggestions to circumvent your pain next time Raz:

1. if the initial 4000 BC spot isn't suitable for a city, move away from it.

2. if the moving out of the initial spot still leaves you only hopeless surroundings, ask for a restart.

It's a bit late for 2 at the moment. Probably a good time to excercize your survival and diplomatic skills. Good luck.

the spot i started on turns out tobe best

very thin island of jungles. only clear sqaures where i started...

as for restart i didnt think that was an option...

within a turn or 2 is generally acceptable. I tend to forget it as well. In case of few clear spaces, at least build your city on a jungle tile -> free clearing.
