I voted for Mario 3, mainly b/c I grew up with it. Iam beginning to reconsider. While Mario 3 does have many admirable qualities, Half Life spawned CS. CS has been the centerpiece of many an awesome LAN party. Mario 3 has not. I shall continue to fight the good fight for Mario 3 though, mainly b/c I love to root for the underdog, and Mario 3 is significantly down now.

Mario is the Christ of Video gaming!

Never has a poor Italian plumber risen so far and died so many times for our gaming sins!

IN 30 years, will Half-Life still be considered a great game? Will it be reproduced and updated unto the new gaming systems, so that people can try it again and again? I think NOT. Yes, many gamers may have had great fun (just like with SMB3), but I bet HL and CS will both be dead and burried long before SMB3 is-the fact is simply arcade games are more primal-their gameplay may be simpler, but they last longer, as they are more universal.

Also, voting for Counterstrike as part of Half-Life seems wrong, since Counterstrike was included as a seperate game, and lost.
