NOTE: I´m only trying to have some fun roleplaying here. This is my Cha Dawn. For this game and those conditions, I´ll try to see the world by his eyes.

Cant do that right now, I´m here at work. I thought Maka didnt receive the turn, her post isnt here, thats because I asked about 2101.

"Oh my... I´m seeing one of those creatures... I sense an agressive behavior... but its not like the creatures of the old earth... that "fungus" has a strange "aura" towards its strange body. No that I can actually "see" it. Its more that I can "feel" it. I know, the creatures of the Earth had one of that too... but its stronger here... I sense planet is somewhat trying to contact me... calling me to go and meet one of its members...
And now I sent the only guard of the city to go and make contact. I must do that. People are afraid, but we must know. I´m not afraid. Its calling me...."

"Commissioner Aeolus. This is Lt. Oranjeboom of 3rd Scout Squad reporting."
"Yes, Lietuetant?" the commissioner at his office, its walls made from orginial materials of the landing pod to remind him of where they came from, asked.
"Sir, we went south as you request. There, we came across some strange kind of growth. The closest descripation would be pink fungus. I have taken the liberty of sending back a scout with a sample."
"Excellent, this is what I would have wanted you to do. I will make sure this goes into your records that you are capable of taking initiative. Is there anything else to report?"
"Yes, sir. As of this time we have not penetrate deeply into this fungal matter. Only deep enough to obtain a sample. So far it seems harmless to us but due to the nature of the fungus itself, it will be difficult to travel rapidly through the substance. As best we could tell, there appear to be a pod two kilometers away half buried. Shall we explore it?"
"No, Lieutenant. I wish you to stay at the edge and wait until our scientists could determine whether it is safe to wade in this fungal substance."
"Yes, sir. We will do so. Lieuenant Oranjeboom out."

A week later.....
A scout sent by Lt. Oranjeboom has arrived with a crate. The commissioner wanted to have the first look at the substance so he had the scout and a group of scientists waiting at an open field right outside of the base while he assembled a team of garrisoned scouts in case something happened. The scientists were restless to see the material also so when the commissioner arrove, they were barely able to contain their curiousity.
The troops formed a perimeter around the crate and drew their weapons which they then aimed at the crate. The commissioner, being the sort not having his subordinates do what he wouldn't do himself, decided to open the crate himself despite protests of his advisors.
His heart beating, Aeolus lifted the top of the crate exposing a mass of pink fungus. After a moment, he declared that the crate seemed safe enough and gave scientists the signal to take away the crate so they can study it.
He also made certain the scout who delievered the crate was rewarded with double pay and rations.

A month later....
"Lt. Oranjeboom, this is the Commissioner."
"Yes sir! This is Lt. Oranjeboom speaking."
"The scientists have determined the xenofungus to be somewhat safe. However, they are concerned about what appears to be eggs laid in the sample you sent. It is possible that we are not alone on this planet. Go ahead and explore that pod but exercise extreme caution."
"Yes, sir! Lieutenant Oranjeboom out."
Lt. Oranjeboom switched the comlink off and ordered a sergeant to have the scout patrol ready to head into the xenofungus.

4 hours later....
After the 3rd Scout Squad secured the area surrounding the pod, they entered the pod. Inside, they found rovers which were damaged except for a handful that were still serviceable. Figuring that the Commissoner would be pleased at the news, Lt. Oranjeboom started to switch on the comlink when it happened.
A cloud of string-like beings erupted around the squad and at same time squad members' minds were suddenly filled with pain and painful memories assaulting their inner psyche. Fortunately due to Lt. Oranjeboom's standing orders to maintain watch against possible dangers, the squad managed to react quickly enough to fight off the cloud without any causalities.
After the squad was confident that there were no more string-like beings in the area, the shaken lieutenant reached the comlink to fill in the commissioner what has happened. He also figured he has discovered the source of those eggs

MY 2109
The 1st Rover Company was struggling their way southwesternly throughout the thick xenofungual mass when the leading rover stopped. All other rovers slowly rolled to full halt as their leader in the first rover climbed aboard top of his vehicle and took out his binocular which he used to survey the terrain far ahead of him.
The driver of the leading rover felt anxious as the leader returned to his seat, his face pale. "Get me the comlink immediately, the Commissioner must know of this" he said, his voice uncertain.

Few hours later at UN Headquarters
"Gentlemen, thank you all for being here," Aeolus spoke before a room full of advisors, "it seems that we are not alone."
Murmurs filled the room as Aeolus turned around to activate the display screen on the wall. It flickered then showed a picture of an organized group of armed humans transporting something which could not be made out.
"The First Rover Company have detected those and as you can see, they are humans. They are not ours. Now we know we are not completely alone, others have survived the Planetfall as well. I have ordered them to go ahead and make contact. They would already have done so but xenofungus has been impeding their progress. It is my deepest hope that they will be glad to see us and join us in uniting the last remnants of humanity. However as you know, it has been 9 years since we came to this world. We have built our own society and formed our own government. This means they may have done the same as well and they might not be so willing to give up their independence in order to recongize the U.N. Charter under which we all came to the Planet. We have our own ideals but we must be realistic also. This is why you are here - to formulate possible responses should they provide to be hostile. Hopefully all of our work we are about to do will be for naught but to protect ourselves we must do this."

Welcome, Maka  . Cosmic, your turn.
Year MY2110
"Talent, have you heard anything from the 1st Rover Company yet?" the anxious commissioner asked his advisor as they were walking down a coordinor to a meeting with his scientists in a hanger.
"Sir, apparently, they were not able to reach the scene before the group they saw left the area."
"Ah we will have to be on our toes from on now then. Here we are," Aeolus nodded at guards as they entered the hanger. "Well, men of science, I am very curious to what you have to share with me."
Doctor Rosenbaum beamed as she walked over to greet the Commissonier and his advisor. "Yes, you will be very pleased. If you will come with me to the table, we can begin immediately."
At the table, there was an object draped with a sheet of cloth and the far section of the hanger was darkened. "Sir, due to our studies on that xenofungal samples the 3rd Scout Squad sent us along with samples from others, as well as soil and water samples, we have a greater understanding of how the ecological system works here on the Planet. We were able to come up with this, if you will look over there..." Dr. Rosenbaum pointed toward the darkened corner.
Lights came on, revealing a large tracked vehicle with various equipment attached to it especially in the front. "This, sir, is the key to our survivial. With this, we can goad the soil to bring forth food for our people, we can mine for raw resources for our needs and collect solar energy to power our infrastructure. We can also clear away xenofungus so we can use the land under those. This is our terraforming vehicle which we will wrestle life from the Planet itself!" the doctor ended with a hint of pride in her voice.
"The good doctor, this is, indeed, excellent news. We must build more for our two bases. This is a major milestone in our history of settling down on this planet."
The Talent who was with Aeolus came up to him, "Forgive the interuption, I have just received a report from 2nd Scout squad in southeast. They came across an artifact that doesn't appear to be human at all. They are bringing it to the other base."
Aeolus nodded and stood before the group "Today brings good news for everybody. We have a new tool which will bring us forward on Planet and we are also getting what appears to be an alien artifact for you learned men and women to study."
