Personally, I find that dagen efter is alot less nasty if you eat something substantial late at night. Might be worth trying if you haven't already.

That doesn't seem to help for me. With age the day after is getting uglier and uglier. The entire day is usually wasted. A time of incredible headache and suffering.

However, considering the amount of beer I tend to drink nowadays, that's not always enough to keep me alive the next day

kropotkin, that's right. Mixing it up is always great plus it makes you feel superior, showing abilities to do that. It's ego thing. And like my downstairs, it's big.

Yeah eating, and drinking non-alcoholic drink before going to bed is essential to avoid the worst hangovers.

Got back from Uni and vacation JUST started, man I'm feeling like 1 million rubles. Great!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited as hell. In less than 40 hours, I'll be starting. The world could come apart, no one knows. You might sense it all the way from here. yeah I'll go slow.. we start at.. like day time and go for the full nighter, so of course it will be slow for the day time...... so we can drink maximum amount .

Maybe I make girl happy by NOT trying anything when too drunk though.. that's something to think about. I don't want to be a jerk after all.

That's a goal too. I mean that when I reach the level where I'm too drunk, I don't want to make a pass because I'd obviously come out as a jerk trying to babble something and drooling. Maybe I will steal someone caveman style and carry her to sauna with us, that should be traumatizing for anyone. But it has to be a stranger.
