	The next game Got spare money?

well it seems that this game will effectively end in the next month or so, so it seems it is time to start discussing what we want the next game to be like. What level we play, at the Civ we are and the other options like geograpgy and number of civ. Also we need a write up for the fron page for the start of the next game. So lets get cracking on this.

Okay, whenever you guys have decided on the type of map you want then I'll start making it. Give me a week or two advance notice though please. That way I can tailor it to rip your nation in half...err, make it challenging enough to be fun.

The Dutch are too strong a civ to play on Emperor, IMO.

I would say these same settings and demi-god, or Emperor with a weaker civ. And maybe a pangaea map. The first game with Egypt was continents. The second arch (I think) with Vikings. How about this one as Pangaea with a weak civ on emperor or a strong civ on demi-god.

And yes - 16 civs.

Oooo. Rome might be fun from an RP side - not to mention the legions could roll over our neighbours earyl on and then we'd ahve to use differnt strates to keep on in the alter game (no leaning on Berzerkers heh.) Is ROme weak enough for Emperor

I say we play... BRITISH!

Seriously, the Brits have two traits we never used in a demogame (seafaring and commercial); they have a naval UU that is not that weak in Conquests; and it could be fun to have an empire with colonies on several continents, that are actually functional and not crippled with corruption.

But the Brits remain one of the weakest Civ of C3C, despite Commercial being a strong trait. I'm pretty sure the game could be interesting, and fun from a RP perspective

That's where I was coming from as well. Rome as RP, and maybe we try to duplicate one of the more progressive forms of Roman government.

Yes - Rome and Emperor level works.

But the Brits would be Ok as well. But we need to get Liz out to get some sun.

Heeeey. Have we considered and alternate history type thing? Play Rome on Earth I mean, and let a CMN tweak an existing map (Kal-EL's perhaps? not elmencey, that sucker is -huge-) ?

Just thought I'd float that idea in - has a DG ever done and earth map?

A C3C single-player game would be perfect for a Demo Game: we can learn from it to better serve Apolyton in the multi-player C3C Inter Site Demo Game.

I too offer my mapmaking services! As you by now know, I have gained some experiences in making challenging and fun maps.

You'll never know what to expect from the automatically generated maps, anyway.
