While wearing concrete shoes, Theben goes swimming in the docks. He dies.

However, as the Yorkie Boys return from the docks they make a discovery. Tuberski is dead, lying on the floor by the warehouses.

Doc Spikie quickly examines him, and clearly he was strangled with something that has left large round marks on his neck.

* * * * *

Maybe we should try imagine what the weapon is. It left "large round marks on the neck", i.e. several of them. This seems to rule out the all-time-popular piano string, for something else.

Well, maybe not, as the killer could have tried several times to strangle Tuberski (and thus leave several marks with the piano string). Thus, it would be someone not very adept at strangling, like Gjramsey
