Triangular hole.
It rules out a gunkill, unless the killer has a custom gun (but we can't interrogate Theben on his special clients anymore). Depending on the shape, it may be an arrow/bolt, or something entirely different.

In both cases, that degree of precision would require to be extremely adept at killing. A triangular shape needs to be sharp to be recognizable, and providing such a sharp shape, in a hard place such as the back of the head, requires extreme strength and dexterity from the killer, whether done by a melee or a missile weapon.

Finally, if we look at the victims of the killer, we see it has been Jonny (heavy) and Zopperoni (Don's bodyguard). Obviously it is somebody who is tired of the Yorkie Boys. Somebody who is tired of paying for protection maybe?

I think it qualifies Joncha as a killer

If you think about it, there is little chance a civilian would be adept enough with weapons to commit a crime requiring such finesse against hardened professionals, especially Zoppi.

However, Joncha owns the girls, and probably has easy access to the rooms when even our best shots are the most defenseless. Hence he can perform such an act without being killed by the real tough guys first.
