Actually a slapper is more commonly referred to.. umm.. a girl who.. umm.. (how shall I put this delicately).. who is a bit rough around the edges and who likes to get nobbed by any old bloke.

So when I called Ghandi a wrinkly old slapper, I was really calling him a dried up desparate old woman.

you're playing civ

you're giving cheek to the other players in a few games

you are getting to a point where you are not quite sure who are the allies and who you want to attack

you are about to make a decision that will either make or break you in the game

you reach for the bottle and pour your self another shot of good whiskey

ahh much better

you have your decision

you are just about to implement it when...

that bloody intercom on the wall rings so loud you jump from your chair with some permanent injury to your right ear

oh, and when you have calmed down and let your kids friends into the building - you have no recollection on what the decision was that you made
