I think Mickeyj is getting at the difference between Scotch Whiskey and Bourbon Whiskey.

Bourbon is an American form of whiskey, made from maize or corn. The name derives from Bourbon County, Kentucky.

Scotch (and Irish) whiskeys uses peat in the distilling process, and so tastes a bit different to bourbons.

The ‘professional’ whiskey drinkers often claim that bourbons are not real whiskeys.

I’m not really a whiskey drinker, but I find the bourbons to be nicer and smoother than the earthy tasting scotches.

Sunday was BBQ day.

Mickeyj and I had kebabs, marinated chook, lamb chops, pork sausages, and god knows how many lagers.

If anyone tells me it wasn't worth eating because it was different kinds of meat, I'll just laugh at them and tell them to shove it all up their poo hole.

Guys, you are motivating me to finish the back deck. I told my wife I wouldn't buy a new grill until I finished repainting it.

I'm about halfway done. I'm going to try and finish this weekend. THEN I'm going to buy a new grill and cook kebabs, marinated chook ( ), lamb chops, pork sausages while drinking lagers.

Marinated Chook:

1 cup of your favourite dark beer (ale or stout works best)
2 tablespoons dark sesame oil

No that chook was purchased pre-marinated from the shop by the girl. It wasn't bad though wasn't it.
