my people have had 1.15 and its many issues up to here ___

so they have walked off the job... they have roited and looted throughout the sacred lands

brother against brother, soldier against soldier

this anarchy can not go on for to much longer

the only hope is that the gracious leaders of the wonderous peoples will step in and bring peace to my humble folk

change is always at the doorstep... yet this amount of change is monumental

ahh lad it is all good

and you still have good lads there

my issue is on my pc...

I am having issues when I swap between v1.22 and v1.15

I have no issues when I only play one version

basically my machine locks up

which is a killer for any work I am doing between saves etc

I just do not need the agro of the machine locking up so often

So if I understand you correctly, you have the two versions of civ running simultaniously, and when you alt-tab between them the computer freezes?

no... I shut one down... close it

then open up the other one...

9 times out of ten it works great

when it muks up... well it can lock the pc up

and since I got booted from my room, and have only a small corner in the apartment, well I only have the one pc up and operating at this time

mate don't pull out, surely re-booting 1 time out of 10 is well worth the excitement of our games and all the mad banter? We've come so far with the Easygoing one, this is shaping up to be a thriller. I'm sobbing now at the thought of simply discarding it!

I have not sent on the saves because I suspected you also offered your cities to others. I have not accepted the cities you offered me, so haven't seen your map.

How about you only play these turns after work when there is no chance of data loss? Obviously the turn rate would slow down, but i'd be happy if we can get 3 or 4 turns a week in.

Paddy, how have you installed the 2 versions? Have you simply created the 1.15 folder in the main Civ3 directory or re-installed the whole game under a seperate directory?

We wouldn't want to loose you in these games.
