I remembered that we were getting random civs, but why did I have to get the mongols? I dont like the mongols. they're evil. and I cant stand their UU and I'm a religious builder kinda civ player. when I get civs such as the mongols I just go nuts, I hear drums beating, I smell yak butter and women nearby seem to get ugly teeth and then the sky turns red and I feel this irresistable urge to kill everything in sight. Its not healthy I tell you...

LzPrst seems to have gone on a little stroll without mentioning anything to us again. He posted in another game that he might not be able to play until Wednesday, but said nothing here or in the forum's topped threads.

At what point should we offer the spot to Krill or someone? I haven't made a strict policy on this, so I'll kind of leave it up to the players here. In the interim, I'll play the turns 12 hours after Flandrien sends them until I hear from Lzboy...

I think the rules say 24 h or else..

Its boring enough to wait a week for each turn in some other PBEM games. i joined the Iron Civer partially for the promised fast pace.

atleast some notification would be nice if youre away for long periods

agh, sorry. was gonna let you know, but I didnt think I'd be without internet connection for this long. I'm visiting my girlfriends house and after 15 hours on the train I just slept through the whole day yesterday. I am sorry, but I really thought I'd be able to play here, but apparently no games allowed on her moms machine, so I wont be able to play until wednesday, which I am here to tell you now. someone could just play my turns until I get back, its mostly hitting Enter anyways. them to build warriors in the small city and something that will take some turns in the capital so I can change it when I get there.
I apologize, but as I said, I thought I'd be able to play yesterday, but it just didnt go that way. I'll accept a yellow card and assure you that I wont leave again without due notice.

You'll have to face it, soccer rules the world. A yellow card is a warning indeed, and the next foul of the same magnitude gives another yellow, automatically followed by a red one and you're out.

I'm a (bio) chemical engineer and in the group where I do my PhD some are working with buckyballs (fullerenes). I didn't know much about the name giving yet, so I had a look on the web (at the bottom).
With Rommel on board we keep at least a turn-a-day pace going. Thanks mate.
