Eek, just realised I didn't explain the reload... My computer crashed to a blue screen (Completely unrecoverable ) when showing the video for the command nexus. It's some sort of I/O problem on the mother board I think, but I've not pinned it down. I had to replay morgans turn (Exactly as before natch) and then do the belivers turn. FYI.

Realised I again forgot to explain a reload... Automatically investigate monoliths had again become checked, which meant I couldn't move a scout patrol to the desired square. Fortunatly I'd only just started my turn, so I could do everything as before, but I turned it off again.

PLEASE do not turn automatically investigate monoliths on!

Oh, and Chairman Slick, I've emailed you CCS twice now, but you've still not got it I see, so I've attatched it here.

This may be my fault, as I've noticed my son turns this feature on when he is playing. I'll see about doing a 4th loading of SMAC(X) onto my machine just for him so that he won't interefere with any PBEM settings in the future.....

"Investigate Monoliths" is off, turn is "on" to ChairmanSlick.
btw for some strange reason at the end of my turn I was able to see an Angel transport sunk in the Sargasso Sea. Maybe the sonar on my sunken Probe Cruiser in this area is still working!

We ended up not going to Niagara Falls as the kids were too whiny for such a trip, plus I couldn't see bundling them into a car for 4 hours just so they could see the falls (I also didn't want to go thru customs, as the lines were long....). There's a reload warning sorry. I played this last night, which was a bad idea I think. I was too tired to save it under the correct name or even in teh correct folder, and this morning I couldn't find the file... Ooops....

C'mon Guys! Knowledge is meant to be free ! I would've thought you guys would've been trading techs back and forth(heck I was sure of it - thats why I built the PDL!).
The Gaians, Pirates, and Data Angels demand you start trading techs!

the reason you did not get any free techs is because you do not get them until they are researched. It is irrelevant what technologies me and chaunk have at this point that you do not. What does matter, is what we get in the future. That is, any technologies that we research from now on... that you do not have ... u automatically get them (*free*) simultaneously, as we get them.

In short - u get techs as we get them... u do not get past techs darsnan.
