this is a very competitive game... your gaian faction is looking powerful now Darsnan i must admit. I have never played in a 3 way were all the factions were so competitive, and paticularly when there were 6 competitive factions.

it's a smax scenarioed-start thing. The game grabs and usaes the graphics from the last game you saved (immortalized in your alphacentauri.ini file).

Most of us just live with it, but if it bugs you, just go into the .ini file and change the factions to:

Faction 1=HIVE
Faction 2=UNIV
Faction 3=MORGAN
Faction 4=BELIEVE
Faction 5=PIRATES
Faction 6=GAIANS
Faction 7=ANGELS

(Some players create a shortcut to the .ini file on their desktop, and edit the factions just before each game played - I know of a couple that keep faction order, by game, in a word file, and they jusyt cut and paste before each game. I believe, as well, that darius wrote a batch program that does this automatically when loading a game, but that's way beyond my capabilities)

Well well well, it seems there are two Factions that feel they should be Governor (Yang in a previous ChairmanSlick post, and Chaunk in the above post), and I can possibly decide who will be the first Governor of Planet!!!
I have decided not to call elections this turn (I hadn't given notice in my previous turn, as I didn't realize I would be in such a position!), but I
may call elections on my next turn. So, tell me which way to vote in the possible upcoming elections, if I decide to call them!

Of course, had you accepted my earlier offers of treaties or even pacts, then revenue could have been flowing your way too buddy

Heah Guys,

I find myself OOT again and probably won't be back till Sunday evening est. Sorry for the short notice, but we were invited at the last moment to a 50th wedding anniversary (you know how those things always sneak up on you.... ), and felt it was prudent to attend.

As far as Roze is concerned: she played it almost like a backstabbing human would - get a players vote, then try and convin$e a 3rd player to attack the previous one! She'll get hers shortly though.....
