Well, the votes from Jonny and Ghengis were actually overkill, I realised...
Episode 4
"Its a note from Rah!" exclaimed Joncha, as he fingered his way through the dead man's posessions.
"What does it say?" asked ADG.
Joncha read the note out slowly and hesitantly.
"It seems to point at GhengisFarb," he offered "But his Latin is so bad, that I'm not sure."
Good enough for us, the Romans thought, and almost all of them voted for the poor mosaic layer.
"Stultorum infinitus est numerus," murmered Zopperoni.
"Eh?" asked Ghengis
"There'll be one less now," said Snowfire, "Let's finish him!"
Ghengis was nailed to a tree by his penis and left there while wild sheep chewed his head off.
"Ah, that's all sorted out," said General Ludd with a smile "Let's go and have a drink."
And drink they did, untill they all fell over in a blind drunk stupor.

But the terror was far from over...

Ooooooh! Post of sacred chicken keeper is open now, I see.
Shame that voting closed early. There's actually a reason to vote Genghis: after all, the killer left his "mark." And "painted" with blood on the wall. Hard to tell, but from word choice, I can only imagine that this murderer has fine blood-control when making his grisly killings; perhaps a person who had experience painting mosaics?
We should check Genghis's old work, see if it has any of his "special ingriedient."
Anyway, since Vlad has been unhelpful as usual, I'm going to retire to Chaunk's old place and read The Practical Guide to Chickenkeeping for awhile so I can pass my chicken-reading exam when the rest of the Romans come back. Far better than this so-called "training" program for gladiators. (Read: I'll be out for the weekend, no posts.) Before leaving, in the odd event that the murders continue, I'll say Rasputin again.

Episode 4b
...but the horror continued...
Guynemer was awoken in the night by a sound of muttering coming from the toiletium. Stealthily he crossed the room of sleeping Romans, stifling a shout as his bare foot stepped on a brtittle something with sharp points.
The toiletium was lit by the full moon, and Guynemer could clearly see Vlad in the middle of the room, muttering like a madman, scratching at his head and penis and then pausing to bang his head against the wall with a dull thud.
"Sally?" muttered Vlad "I'm praying for torrid weather, my dear Sally!"
"I'm not Sally," said Guynemer, as he reached out for Vlad "You should stop banging your head on the wall."
Vlad hissed at Guynemer, and thrust him away, but not before Guynemer could see that his hair was crawling with headlice, each bloated with blood.
"I'll fetch help" said Guynemer, and shouted for the others to wake up.
Vlad became more desperate, clawing the skin off his head.
"Look at the stars!" he screamed "Pursued by Typhon they hide in the Euphrates!"
Hercules entered, leading the rest of the Romans and Vlad froze pointing at him, screaming.
"This man will show you the way in his second death!"
With that Vlad ripped off his toga, revealing the headlice covering his whole body, apart from his rotting green penis, and died, stiffening in position.
"May Saturn d..." started FlameFlash, but as usual Rasputin trumped him.
"May Jupiter deliver his soul safely to the underworld!"
"He was a great man," said Snowfire, "A really good trainer."
"Indeed he was," said DrSpike
"Si post fata venit gloria non propero," said Zopperoni, and everyone laughed.
