	OPERATION "SANDBAG", Delaying the save on purpose Increase the size of your Attachments

Just so everyone knows, we are delaying the save up to the maximum alloted playing time of 24 hours.

We are doing this until Togas gets back because we do not want the game to progress to far until we can get the What are we going to do about CDG and PAL issue resolved and as a consul Togas has big say in what we are going to do in that reguard.

he asked us to do that before he left for a weeks vacation in Japan, and I intend to honor that request.

Phase one is complete, waiting 24 hours to post the last save delayed the process by 24 hours.

But we will probably get the save again today, play tonight, and not forward until tomorrow. (Thats all in USA time)

I just wanted you all to know what was going on in case you notice the game is moving slowly right now.

That also gives us more time in our current city planning efforts

Consul or not, we have 59 members and 3 consuls.

We should not intentionally delay the game for one consul when our whole government was set up with three consuls so that if one is unavailable, we could still play on.

Togas asked us not to rush into a decision, however, I dont think even he would approve of intentionally delaying the turns.

PAL wants a chat tonight at 900EDT.

Im thinking we chat with them, post it, and then start thinking about what we are going to have for poll choices.

I haven't done anything beyond the game rules. The save was apssed within 24 hours.

I'm writing from Japan while on a quick break at an internet cafe to see what's up.

DO NOT delay the saves because you want me around before making a major decision. These sorts of decisions should not affect the speed at which we play the save.

Play the turns as normal.

Just DO NOT jump into any game-long alliances at the spur of the moment. There is absolutely nothing forcing us to choose a long term strategy NOW. We don't need to rush into any major decisions. A few days is not enough time to decide our future. Further scouting, further diplomacy, and further chats will serve us best. Just keep talking.

Well, I guess I don't have anything to say about this issue.

Generally speaking, though, I disapprove of trying to delay turns intentionally. Slowing down the save can hurt our reptuation.

My thoughts exactly. I wonder why we are rushing to decide an ally yet anyhow.

Granted, I don't want us to wait so long that our opponents decide for us by gang-banging us, but I don't think we're in danger of that yet.

I agree totally, I think we ought to sit on the fence and force CDG and PAL to work something out.

Then I cant wait till CDG gets berserkers
