There seems to be a tradition in bars in the UK whereby asking for a 'usual', when they don't know what your usual is, will result in you getting something very strong.

I spent a month in "the smoke" last april, actually 13 months ago now.

The English Ales were dam good, its all I drank for a month. I thought I had died and gone to heaven after drinking that American crap.
