Isn't it about time that a decision was made about whether the post count is relevant or not? There have been a few conflicting messages on the subject.
I'd back ditching it entirely, but then you all could have guessed that.

that would cause spam of on topic forums... but i guess thats easier to control... go for it

I now understand the subplot running through here.
It just shows the lengths people will go to in order to up their post counts.
MarkG, what clearer evidence do you have that doing away with post counts is a most sensible way to improve the forums.
