I say we should play with a combination of traits we never had before, for the sake of renewing the challenge.
Since we have played with the Egyptians (religious industrious), and with the Scandinavians (militaristic expansionist in PtW), the remaining traits are:
- scientific
- commercial
- seafaring
- agricultural
So, to me, the choice boils down to these Civs:
- Greece
- Korea
- Byzantium
- Sumeria
- England
- Iroquois
- Netherlands
As we'll play a pangaea map, we should as well forget the seafaring Civs. That's why I suggest we play Iroquois, so that we can take advantage of the pangaea, and have a huge yet productive landmass at our bidding. it will delight our feudal lords if we go the feudalism course, and it will bring the joy of a new trait to us all
The only drawback of the Iroquois is their early military Golden Age. Sadly, the only other Civ that has useful unused traits, and a medieval GA is Korea, with their bad UU.

Hmmm, looks like a docpile on England, however if we each only get one vote, I believe I should vote for the Maya.
