That will not grant anyone domination of conquest, however, and without locked alliances the game will not be over automatically. As Washington has apparently rushed a spearman, our attacking warrior, who is already slightly wounded from the previous battle, resorted to pillaging the suburbs untill further reinforcements from our allies arrive, along with the soon-to-be-trained javelin throwers from our own ranks. In the mean time, our warriors have approached New York from the north, as Paddy's boat scouts can probably see.

We have attacked Washington, alas though we were unsuccessful and our brave warriors were cut down.

We do have other forces there to retry but as our warriors are untrained we dont hold out much hope for their success.

Besides, I only have space for two more cities, neither of which are too juicy. I want Washington out of the way so I can expand to the West and grab some of that ivory before the Vikings or Haiawatha get to them.

(That and I already have a Javelin Thrower en route to Washington. Too late to call him back now, eh? Well, that will be a wasted golden age, unfortunately, but oh well. )

Our glorious conquerors from the north, who destroyed New York are now stationed just north of Washington. They are also able to see an approaching band of Englishmen. We have hopes that they will help us deal with the Americans. In the mean time, our Javelin Throwers struggle through the jungle south of Copan on the way to Washington, as the roads are being hurriedly built. As well, the training of new men in the throwing of Javelins has cost a number of lives in Copan, much to our grief, though the governor reports the troops will be ready by the time the band from Chichen Itza enters the city to restock on supplies, and thus then our striking force will essentially be doubled.
