My scouting vessel has noticed a tribe of barbarians 5 tiles north east of Medina incase you did not know they were there

as to a Napoleonic game, what civ would you like to be young Chrisius?

I ask as you have allowed me to be England in many games, and I being a colonialist and all that am willing to pay the piper for you to play the Homeland if you would like

Well yes I like England in this scenario, there troops rock for sure but its been fun playing as Spain in 2nd coalition, so its not of that much concern.

What about bringing in other players ?

Smelly /sabre ?

that would kill two birds with one stone

Whoever plays which nation, if were allied then Spain should get all the Portuguese cities from the off as it greatly increases her production power, giving her a better defence against Boney, though Gibraltar should remain British IMO.

I know this will sound daft Paddy but I cant face playing turks or Austrians, so any other will suffice

Unfortunately, the barbaric Vikings never built any roads connecting their capital city to the village of Copenhagen, hence our march is somewhat slowed down. However, we hope to have hold of the viking captial in a few turns.

As well, we will have Literature in 3 turns, so yeah.

We are somewhat disturbed by what we hear of Haiawatha, however. Rumor has it, they are the strongest nation in the world? We are hoping our English friends are ready and willing to keep them in check?

Literature in 2...

Pictured below, in the center on the hill, is a victorious Javeline Thrower that has just taken the hill from an injured Viking Warrior. Just to the north, we can see civilians scrambling for safety, and to the West - additional Viking reinforcements, which will probably prove nothing more than a slight nuisance. To the south-east, you can see the path of destruction left by might Maian warriors on their way to global supremacy. (Along with our allies of course. )
