I'll factor this into my calculations.
I've lost track of what mod we're at.

If you could go to your HQ,
Switch techs,
Tell me what techs you can select,
and seleft SotHB (to avoid the 50% research hit).
it would allow me to predict further beelines.
Colonyan:
Wait until you have Industrial Economics and Planetary Networks.
Tell me what techs you can select.
It will help with further beelines.

I'm looking for several targets here:
1. Gene Splicing - Ecological Engineering - Environmental Engineering.
2. Industrial Economics - Industrial Automation
3. SotHB, Industrial Automation - Neural Grafting, Gene Splicing - Bio-Engineering
4. Doc:Mob - Doc:Loy - Int:Int
The extra tech from SotHB should be Neural Grafting.
If we research SotHB now, we'd have to spend the extra tech on something wasteful.
I'm not prepared to stall my tech rate 3 turns to wait for you guys.
Zeiter has tech in 6,
Colonyan has tech in 5,
I have tech in 2.
I should go for Gene Splicing,
which would need a gift of BioGenetics from someone.
I could tech-leap with Zeiter - giving him EthCalc, CentEco and GeneSpl.
He'd research EcoEng, and with IndEcon from Colonyan, be the one to research EnvEcon
That's one beeline out of the way...
By the time I get Gene Splicing researched, Colonyan will be almost done with Industrial Economics.
I'll pair with him.
-hopefully- Colonyan will get to IA before I can, since he'll have 3 techs while I hold 7.
he gifts IA to me and helps DetriusXii on the beeline to Intellectual Integrity.
With IA in tow, I get SotHB, research Neural as free tech, then start research on Bio-engineering.

Colonyan: Problems rushing the rectanks?
There's a hurry icon you'll find most useful to dispose of your Energy Credits.
All seems to be going well, save for my tech rate just shooting up to 60!
I'll need to focus my efforts.
Colonyan can get to IA, but he'll need to 'hurry' his rec tanks for energy credits.
Zeiter will get my tech boost (EthCalc, GeneSpl) to go for EcoEng (and later EnvEcon).
I'll try to get Bio-Engineering. I don't know how long Colonyan will take to get IA, so it's a gamble to go for SotHB...

Then you take your CDs and rent a computer at your location.

Would anyone mind sharing map information? I'm trying to find out as much information as I can
I've got a few rovers headed to Gaia's Landing as we speak.
Dee's Agressive/Green with a base on my continent.
Santi's Agressive/Dem with a base on my continent.
I haven't established where Chairman Yang is...
DetriusXii and Zeiter are on their own islands.
Colonyan is on my main continent.
DetriusXii and Colonyan are geographically close to my HQ.
I don't know how trustworthy those two are, so if I go for Santi and Dee I may get backstabbed.
Zeiter: Try to find Chairman Yang for me. Once the governor's election is called, you'll probably become governor because of your double votes.
