Composite bow. I think this is bronze age based on the Odyssey, where Odysseus' bow is clearly a composite bow. Generally speaking, it looks like the composite bow was invented by Indo Europeans in the steppes after the westernmost tribes (celts, latins, germans) had split from easternmost (indo iranians). I'm not sure about Greeks since they had very close ties to Persia, but they probably used it before they became so focused on hoploi and lances.

Ancient Egyptians also had, the basics of theory the basics of knowledge of flight and sound waves, especially the later. They were not able as far as we know to put the former to any use and the later is still questionable how much so.

I also think it was during this age that advanced plumbing came about in India and elsewhere (using gravity and different sized piping), including cold and hot water

LGJ,

IMO, the basics of theory aren't relevant to this game. If it were, the Egyptians also had batteries, should we allow them the possibility of alkaline batteries as well? Leonardo developed the basics on flight, submarines and machine guns, should we allow this in the middle ages?

On the other hand, gravity plumbing could be available, though personally, I don't think it became widespread enough to include until the Iron Age with the Romans and their Aqueducts.

Enter the AD-FREE zone

As i said not much was done with flight other than children's toys as far as can be told, however there is evidence that as the very least sound waves were used for long-distance communication.

Got spare money?

Well, the Harappan civilization of India, kind of like the Sumerians except much cooler and much more wiped out, had a very efficient sewer network in their larger cities (Harrapa, Mohenjo-Daro, Lothal, etc.) and it kept their citites nice and very clean. It was primitive by today's standards, being nothing but a network of drainage ditches, but considering contemporary technology and the organization required, it was a remarkable achievement. Similar drainage systems still exist, as I remember seeing them in my early childhood. Various Central Asian cities have them in some regions.
