By the way, even though I am european and I grew up with "real football", I have to admit that american football is much more exciting. It's kind of like TBS versus RTS. TBS (american football) is slower but deeper in strategy.

Interesting parallel there!

You'd love rugby. Much more strategic and exciting than soccer but without the pads and pauses of Gridiron.

i personally am not that fond of real football. too slow, luck decides too much, etc. i much prefer icehockey... or womens volleyball... but that's not because of the sport itself

I hope everyone can forgive me not posting my last turn- I snuck in a third one today because I was late for work anyway.

That makes up for my missed slot last Friday night. I think that puts us exactly at 2 TurnsPerDay so far, not counting weekends.

For pure exercise and enjoyment, I'd rather play football with the spherical thing, but for watching and armchair coaching, the game with an oblong 'ball' can't be beat (not sure about rugby tho...)

I played soccer during school, then went to rugby and never looked back. These days I play neither, but do play Saturday Cricket which is great fun.
