Well, I am nonetheless proud for Latvians. They put up a much better resistance than I expected, and our keeper had moments of brilliance. The bad part was, we didn't attack nearly enough. Heck, our only real chance in the first half (and the only shot at target) was a goal. Then, the second attack with a short on target was dangerous. 2-3 more such attacks, and we would've won. Czechs were excellent at keeping the pressure on our goal, and therefore the defenders couldn't help but play pure defensively. Which makes conceding just a logical thing.
It was a good game. Czechs will have to admit that it was tough for them, Latvia looked well, and could have done even better with more attacks.
