Why dont you too go enjoy the beutiful summer days or something, with weather like this i dont want to waste it discussing gameplay issues, since the rest of the year is cold and dark here. I'm sure people will discuss many of these things but not the same night you post about them, also many of us have shown to be interested and reading the boards but you still complain.

For six day, there is thread to conscript. So far no one has showed any interest in any form of gameplay. We ahve backed out from minigame, because again no one showed any interest. People discuss completely unimportant things and intentionally ignore threads which I continually label as very important.

No I expect the ACDG to start when each of the teams gets their players together and pick their turn players.

The forums will simply add an extra layer of urgency, as there will be no more excuses for delaying.

Aren't you sick of waiting yet? I mean it has been since March that plans for the next ACDG began. Also I know that I shouldn't bother any of the teams with requests to do roleplay stuff for the first couple of turns. That's because they need to sort out their turnplayer and command structure stuff without distractions. So I'll be twiddling my thumbs or just doing stuff by myself for at least another 2 weeks assuming the forums are up tomorrow and the game discussions start etc.

Why dont the current ACDG have private forums set up in Apolyton? I know I would be very much more active if we had a proper forum here.
We could have proper posts with pictures and stuff. (Polls polls polls )

Still, guys...Its SUMMER, many people have things to do, holidays to spend or just want to spend days without internet, outside etc. I would imagine summer is the most quiet time in Apolyton forums anyway.

ACDG III HAS STARTED!
And guess who is first in turn order. I do not plan to request password for the turn until we have been setup on our private forum (which yet has to be contructed). I guess 72 hours could be enough, but I will ask for more time if we are not ready. Then we will open the turn and start. But be free to download the turn, even as we do not have the password.

Ah yes, until enough members confirm the results of the ongoing result (no other candidates, only matter of time before enough members state their opinion so that it is validated), I pronounce myself Temporary Chief Administrator of Gaians (aka mod) so taht private forums can be set up. I hope this will be officially confirmed soon. Lauri, here I come (kick MWIA in meantime from it).

I was planning on rewriting the new backstory as an more elaborate version of the one I posted a little earlier. I figured that me being the narrator and buster not giving a backstory I had the freedom to setup the backstory.

However, I noticed Maniac's post that pointed out yours and Geomodders stories.

Geomodders story was fairly short and was more light roleplay and had a fair few plotholes and was based around the bartender. So I hope he doesn't mind if we don't use it.

Your seems more like an introduction to your faction, and I now understand your comments of wanting to keep the basic unity storyline since something else would conflict with your introduction.

So I'm wondering if you would be interested in some collaboration in a new Gaian introduction story? It won't be as long as the one you had before, but it'll be original and IMHO that would be better.

Umm with a little disclaimer that I might not find the time to do more than just the Gaians, I'm going to tenatively offer collaborate to write faction intros for the other factions too. This is ofcourse after I get the backstory and the main part of the ACDGIII introduction finished.

Actually, re-reading that thread I got an idea for perhaps another (the next) ACDG (or ACSFDG, whatever). Why not starting then from about the technological point that is reached for this one at victory of one of the factions?

This question reveals my utter ignorance: where does one download the ACDG turn? And I assume there is a password.

Basically, I’m not sure of the mechanics/protocol of the setup.
