I doubt that, actually. Eventually Ken'll just get tired and and he'll slip up. Then the show will go back to normal. |
Ken's not going to get tired of making $30K a day. This is his day job now. Where else can you make $30K for a half an hour's work?

I was surprised the news said he was only the 7th highest game show winner?
I figured who wants to be a millionare only pays our $1 million right? Are there any that pay our more? I'd like to know who has won more than this on a game show. | Besides Millionaire and Super Millionaire, there was a show called Greed a couple years ago which had a top prize of $2M. I don't know if anyone ever won it though; it was nearly impossible, and anyone with sense who was in a position to try would instead walk away with what they'd already won.

Keep in mind that they actually tape a week's worth (ie: five shows) a day. So if Ken averages $30k a show, he's really making $150k a day, albeit for a much shorter time span.
Anyway, his run does end at some point in the not too distant future. The shows were taped in February and he's been back home in Utah for quite a long time now. Obviously, still enough time for a few more weeks of wins, but we know he looses eventually.

The show is on hiatus, according to this article.
So his streak is at 38 wins, and he gets to resume when the new season starts. I don't know when the taping for that would be, but I think it explains why he has been at home.
