Background:
"Once we realised that our former planet, the planet Chiron in the Alpha Centauri system was dying we build the CS Cooperation, a colony ship meant to colonise a distant planet orbiting the Sol system. When the Cooperation reached Sol IV the captain of the ship was found dead and the crew split into 7 distinct factions! When we landed we found out that "Planet" was inhabitet by indigenous lifeworms we identified as Mind Apes and that the planet was covered with a network of asphalt roads from which these mindapes would strike the undefended colony..."

(The player race is based on the Chironian mindworm)

Any relation to Chironian history is completely coincidental
