On the default style, silver is close to the base colour. It's like using blue with MOO3 style, or black with SMAC style. The /me colour changes depending on what style the viewer is using. It's blue on the default style.

Heh, be another way to make spoilers for the normal people who use default though... and ruin it automatically for everybody else who uses a forum style after a lousy game (MOO3 is more popular a style than SMAC, AFAIK)

What comes to "supporting a lousy game", I think it'd be giving into the putridness that is MOO3 by not using the perfect style just because of that. I think it would be best put like this: the better the forum style, the worse the game. The SMAC style is by far the most horrid one.

Default doesn't hurt my eyes, but MOO3 strains them a bit. I used to use the SMAC style, and quite liked it, btu changed to default earlier this year because it's less conspicuous at work
