Mark, Snapcase meant to say,
"These new forum listing designs are unasthetically pleasing. If you would be so kind as to change it, it would be greatly appreciated."

I find that extremely annoying
<img src=/forums/"/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>imagine how annoying it was when we learned that our ad ingome(you know, that thing that keeps this site alive) would be cut significantly...

Why not move both ads to the top, right next to each other? That way it's more aesthetically acceptable.
<img src=/forums/"/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>they would not show up correctly at 800x600

incomplete change...
there was a power failure in half of my city
"show topics" menu moved...
|
|
| |
 |
|
|
I'd move the "Post New Topic" button and all those words to the left, and center all the old commands under the button as per before, since there is enough space now. And move the forum name down.

Not too bad. I'm having trouble with the new position of the "10 days" combo box, whose Go button seems to drop down to the line below in IE, though not in netscape.

Has it gotten to the point that a 5-6 second delay will destroy life as we know it? I get mad when there is a delay too, but life goes on.
<img src=/forums/"/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>
My browsing habits here are probably a bit strange. I run a SMAC PBEM tournament, and regularly check the turn administration threads to see if there are any problems etc. Usually there are none, and then checking the thread is a less than 10-second process. It follows that the ratio of time spent looking at 'Click on the 666 for a chance to win $54,000,000,000,000!!!' to time spent doing something useful gets considerable.
It is not the end of the world in any way, but it is annoying and I do not think my phone company deserves the money. So I would really appreciate it if something could at least be done to prevent the drawing of the top ad when the back button is used even when it should not be displayed, as I suspect that may be a major culprit... (please, Mark? Pretty please? )
