Strategic Command eh Erika? I'm affraid I'm not familiar with that one. In any event I think you'd be surprised how fun it is to make flags on this scale.

Sorry I took so long responding, Chris, but your Oceania collection is great! I would, however, suggest adding Nauru, as it is a fully self-governing state (in fact, it has the honor of being the smallest republic in the world, and the only nation with no urban areas), and it's flag seems to be popular on Apolyton avatars (which is strange, considering Nauru has no Internet service providers. Oh well).

Interesting, no internet service on Nauru eh? Well when I post the giant world flagset in afew days I'll be sure to include it in the Oceania flagset.

Steph I hate posting only a partially completed flagset but I lost the list of flag requets you posted for the medival scenario your producing. Also, I seem to have misplaced the references for the flags I haven't completed yet.
Here's what I was able to finish before I realized I had lost the references you provided. If your still in need of the flags and have a moment could you send the references over my way again? Sorry for the trouble man.

Here's something I cooked up for ya Patine. Hope its to your likeing. I made two different versions of the ring of stars because I wasn't sure which ring, the larger or the smaller one would appeal to you more.
What other civ's are in this scenario of yours?

I only darkened the outer edge Martin to create more contrast towards the center. All the flags I post are much darker on the outer edge than they should be, its what helps add the definition and sense of depth.
Also Martin, the two most inner levels of blue in the Swedish banner were sampled from the inner blue levels in the first corrected flag you provided, which were considerably lighter and more accurate than the first version I provided. So in the end, its only the outer blue level that was darkened for the contrast effect.

Well Steph here is the finished flagset for your Medival scenario we have been discussing. I hope they're to your liking. Now Martin, though I was the artist behind these flags since it was Steph who commisioned me to make them, I think you should ask him permision to use them instead of me.
Also, I'd love to see any flags and or banner's you've come up with!!

Oh that wouldn't be a problem at all Martin. If you want I could provide you with blank medival banners in all the different colours that I use, as it might make altering and manipulating the banners much easier.
Also, as second glance I realize I should have added more texture to the wooden bars that support the banners. If you so desire the multi-colour banner's I'll be sure to texturize the wooden supports.

Would this be a flag or a medival banner?

I also have to apologize for taking so long to release the final global flagset.gif. Its taken a while because as I was nearing completion of the North American flagset I found an improved white flag pallet. The problem was I had already made up 90% of the worlds flags with the old white pallet, and I'm now having to change all the white portions of the flags by hand.
Hopefully I will be able to unveil the global flagset before February.
