Although I agree with what you said, I remember reading somewhere that we weren't allowed to discuss the ectivity level in our forums.
Don't ask me where it was. I'm looking for it now...
But I do remember one of the moderators having posted it somewhere...

Naw - that was one of the teams (not ours) who didn't want # and frequency of posts disclosed to the others as that could be an indication of diplomatic activity

So Drogue said he wouldn't post those types of numbers

A specific team, volunteering information, isn't breaking any rules, especially in the context of MWIA's question

LOL - these were totally unrelated.

I'd been looking to see what the original trannie had been called, and then found that Maniac had updated that units name list to 2138, so I edited it up to 2140. But as it was languishing on the 3rd page of the threads I bumped it ('cos we'll be getting a slew more units coming off the lines in the next 2 or 3 turns) by adding the 2 names of the trannies as a separate post

I don't think we need it top-ed (that was a problem in the old Hive forums originally, so many threads were top-eds that when you logged on there was never an indication of a new post until the second page. We've got it about right with 3 stickied)

Googlie is right about the team post frequency information. The Gaians is the team that is hyper secret about everything. The posts you are refering to is in the rec commons thread around the beginning of the game.

Too busy, basically. Plus current circumstances.
I used to be at my computer all day with broadband access, but now more often than not I'm on a dial-up machine and can barely keep up with the OG forum, let alone a demogame. Hopefully once this semster is over and I get broadband installed at my g/f's place I can once again be an active poster at the Spartans.

Yep, I can vouch for that. Last year when I was going out with my girlfriend, my Apolyton time plummeted to maybe 1 hour a week.

The diplomacy can take place outsdie the game screens, as we're not offerign techs to Gaia simultaneously with commlink money ( their rule ) and the Morgan negotiations are ongoing anyway.
