so andy, 3 saves are floating about. all similar to me from point of starting location quality (some a bit better, some a bit worse... but i won't tell you which, so your choice isn't influenced by mine :lol.

ok... maybe one will turn out unbareable for one of use... i'll play for now.

shall we keep just this one tracker thread? we can always start a new one if the game should advance at a different pace (can happen if 1 games arrives and the other doesn't... see swift/flawed)

sorry, it took a bit longer, because i was stuck with another PBEM which is in the worst MM-phase (coming out of anarchy ...)

can you name your files different than i do? i like having PBEM in front of my filenames so i don't send back the wrong ones. but if you like this style, i'll chose a different one... as long as we don't have the same

btw, when setting up a PBEM, even if you set things to random, at the next startup, you see what things were set.

so that we have equal knowledge of the world:

game A: small pangea 60%, normal, cool, 4 billion years, raging barbarians
game B: small pangea 60%, arid, warm, 4 billion years, restless barbarians

so expect to see lots of deserts in B and nothing special in A

i noticed, because i started 2 games with wrong settings, once forgetting our chosen civs, once wrong difficulty level. every time i had to manually reset to "random" and it wasn't always the same.
