Clue #6: The genre of this 1996 PC game is indeed the graphical adventure. As far as I know it's the only graphical adventure done from the "Doom" perspective, with a Doom-like engine. There were a couple of adventures around the same time that were Myst-style first person puzzle-floaters with full 3D movement, but they generally tended to feel a lot like those **** "multimedia" "virtual" environments that some early CD-rom products had. This was a heavily LucasArts-inspired humorous adventure game from a different viewpoint.

Dat's der bunny.

I'm always surprised when it doesn't turn up on lists of greatest adventure games of all time, I hugely enjoyed it myself. I still think that together with Gabriel Knight: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned, it's the best attempt at doing an adventure game interface in 3D. Not that Grim Fandango wasn't a better game, but the control system left a bit to be desired.

Quelle Surprise! That is correct . It's indeed Bullfrog's Flood. A platform game where you had to find the exit on every level while the water was rising. You could find a small arsenal of guns, grenades and flamethrowers, plus the occasional rubber chicken. To prevent slacking off you where also chased by the ghost of your auntie.
