In my effort to take over MORGANLINK I might write that article, do I get a percentage share according to contribution amount?

Although I said I'll write an article for the gaians first. Also I need to do a few other things for my own newspaper, plus possibly start other roleplaying, finding a xenopuppy, and possibly help with some game problems that Drogue is dealing.

I say you can get a certain *cough*bribe*cough* if you allow us to get a very good bonus with our setup. We would, of course, wire you a decent amount of energy credits to your bank account for contributing to the "let Morganites win" fund.

CMNs can definitely submit articles for MorganLink Magazine. However, if they are not up to our high Morgan standards (Read: At least biased for us a decent amount), then we can't publish them; it won't make us money.

Cover Story of the Morgan Street Journal


Sources indicate that Chaunk Cheif Prosecutor for Morgan Industries is preparing to file Section 33 1/3 Embezelment Charges against CEO Nabutika Morgan. Reportedly the charges will state that CEO Morgan whial still abord the Unity Space Craft misapropriated the sum of 10 Energy Credits for his own personal use and hid them someware about the Morgan Capsule leaving only a mere 100 Credits for the rest of the faction to make due with. Upon the landing of the Pod he then endevored to conseal his theft from the rest of his faction and was nearing completion of a secret underground Groto which was to be filled with nerve stabled Super model love slaves, lots of wine, synthetic caviar and a life time supply of Viagra.
Chief Prosecutor Chaunk gave this response. " He is goind down, I have him in my sights and he can not escape. We will strip Morgan of every energy penny he has and boot him off the board for this unforgivable theft of company assets. I dont care if he DID found this company and lead us through the breakup of the Unity this crime is unforgivable."
CEO Morgan gave his response " These Charges are Rediculus, Poppycock, made of whole cloth and further more NOT TRUE! I am the Teflon Kid and will come through this completly unscathed like that 21st Century Burlescony (sp?) fellow who ran Italy. I suspect Prosecutor Chaunk is simply going after me because of my wealth and wishes to "bag" himself an inosent buisnessman so he can make a fortune on his lawyer fees which mind you run at a stagering 500%!!."
When Chaunk was asked to justify his lawyer fees he responded with "No Comment". Morganic legal experts agree that the case against Morgan looks grim but none could imagine that the highly respected leader of our faction could ever have been charged in such a mannor. They find the posibility of conviction infintesimal due to the fact that Morganic Society would be shaken to its core by such an event.


This is a draft for a story involving the take over of Morgan Industries by Chaunk. I am now thinking that we should make it a Multi Part story with this being just the first part and subsiquent releases telling the rest of the story. Part 2 tells of the Conviction, Part 3 Chaunk seases power and apoints new managers to the board (our election results) and we can then continue to refer to Morgan as a kind of running gag for a long time as he is in his jail cell or perhaps ends up destitue and poor unable to get any charity from the Greed obsessed society he helped to create (oh the irony). I Sugjest we keep this Part 1 in reserve for Isshue #3. Isshue #2 should focus on the Landing and our IPO inwhich Morgan is still our leader, we would list all of our Investors at that point and have some funny stock reports ect ect. I dont think we want to have Morgan get deposed untill AFTER we have had an IPO orelse its hard to explain how he could be the CEO.

I think we should stick with Morgasmic, lets go for the tabloid appeal

How about with regard to Impalers four stage idea, we have an interview with CEO Morgan this issue, talking about teh landing, and explaining his vision for the future (Something about international markets or something vaguely economical yet obviously pointless or weak.)

We then have Impalers second article above, where Morgan is in the dock for embezzlement. However, everyone and his Mum knows that really it's just a cover to get out the weak CEO. He's got no vision, no drive, and seems to be content to sit in his harem and smoke XenoWeed™ (A ScorpiCorp® Product! Contact your local dealer for details of the latest special offers NOW!).

Part three is the actual trial. It's a show trial, Morgan presents a water tight case, and the prosecution presents large bribes (Although this has never been proven, and anyone who has hinted at it in the public has disapeared mysteriously). Morgans life as CEO is in the balance, and we leave it with him about to recieve the verdict.

Part four (of four) sees Morgan making a deal with the prosecution. He is exhonerated of all charges, yet forced to stand down as CEO. The Company (read Faction) keeps his name, but all his plans are out of the window. Morgan's successor, (Current CEO at the time), commented "After consulting with his advisors, Mr Morgan felt that his time as CEO was over. He'd achieved all his aims, and has now retired in luxury. The company is facing some minor restructuring, but will emerge stronger than ever. That is all."

Bit of a long story perhaps, but I think we could do quite a few issues in short order, especially if we make them short(ish) issues. Comments?

Sounds like a nice outline their Chaunk. I think we should bundle the Landing of the Pod, The IPO (each of the members invests in the Company) and the signs of Morgans weakness into our next isshue.

Oh and by the way did yall like the way I worked thouse 10 missing Credits into the story, though everyone would get a kick out of that.

Allow me to second the vote for Morgasmic.

On an even more thorough segue, wouldn't a 'Department of Public Relations & Marketing' be more thematically appropriate for the Morganite (Morgasmic) way? After all, we know that the services that we provide are superior to those offered by the misguided splinter groups who clutter the surface of Chiron, all we need to do is let their citizens know about them. Propaganda is only used by despots who want to oppress and decieve their people, and we offer freedom and luxury to all and sundry.

Morgasmic Lawyers called into action

Like a well oiled machine, the legal department in Morgan Industries sprang into action this last week amid uproar. Rumours had started, and were spreading like wildfire - the Mod's, the producers of the so called Pholus Lunar Newscast had started a campaign of viscious lies and misrepresentation.

The headline made their stance clear "Outrage Over Atrocities Commited by the Morganites". This reporter throws scorn in the direction of the Phalic Loony Newscast that, amidst their campaign of racial hatred, they couldn't even be bothered to get our Faction name correct. But thats by the by.

And official Morgasmic Represetitive made the following statement. "Originally the PLN stated they were neutral in all afairs. We now see they lied. In fact, their newspaper is nothing more than a rag. Our lawyers have issued a writ to the papers editors and the court case is scheduled for two weeks time.

"The Morgasmic Company has at no time had any part in any of these "atrocities" they claim we carried out. The protocol that Kody the Narrator of the Third Alpha Centraui Democracy Game, Senior Consultant on Universe Mechanics of Morgan Industries, Minister in charge of making sure the pins stay in the right spots on the War Map for the Spartans, Joint Peanut publisher for the Data Angels, Senior Nudist Runner Through Trees and Executive Preserve of Rosbuds of the Gaians, Spam Puppy - editor of the Pholus Lunar Newscast, and Janitor of Honghu's Washroom cites has not been broken in any way. In fact, as all the CMN's are aware, we Morgasmics have not roleplayed at all, save for a little bit last week from only two of our members, who are both now in training to rid them of such roleplaying tendencies.

"We will not rest till the truth is out, and Morgan Industries is once again free of the slur that PLN has given us."

We at MorganLink news can only stand and aplaud as our leaders refuse to take this lying down. Let the lawsuit begin!

I like the Lawyer article. Are we sure about Morgasmic?

Chiron Olympics: Triple Fungus Jump, Xenodiscus toss, Centauri Decathalon, etc... We may want to start with an article calling for athletes from the other factions (Names and such).
