We aren't going to get CGN to comprimise. I know miccofl enough to know that he is entrenched into this position.

We are going to need a ruling from Mongoose (that doesn't look likely)

Or:

Get a replacement for Mongoose and get a ruling from him. (I have suggested FortyJ from CGN for such a replacement. Does anyone know him?)

Or:

In the absence of a Ruling authority we propose a BINDING team vote on the subject.

Everyone would have to agree up front to abide by the vote, and with Lucky around we would have to make sure a Lawyer wrote up the proposal to voe on.

EDIT: Damn, I misread con's suggestion. He wants an all-team vote on this. I was thinking of an internal Apolyton vote. My thoughts on that below.

I'm no lawyer, but I work with a bunch of them, and my job involves the law. Still, this is very simple, and I don't think legalize is really required.

My proposal would be a simple yes/no vote on the following (I'm basing this on MZ's proposal in the UN forum):

If CGN does not offer peace "accepted" to both GCA and GWT within four turns from this one, Apolyton shall attack and capture or destroy the city of Rememberance, thus eliminating CGN from the game*.

To this end, Apolyton will immediately:

a) Inform CGN via diplomatic channels of our intention.
b) Position troops within striking distance of Rememberance.

* - please tell me they don't have any settlers on galleys

Ok, that's the agreement to vote upon. In the event that CGN still refuses to play ball, however, I think the other 4 teams will need to come to an agreement to hunt down and destroy CGN. This includes Apolyton attempting to snuff them (which if they don't have any settlers on galleys, should take care of things quite easily).

I don't think he's roleplaying. He might occasionally role that out as an excuse for his behavior, but it's just cover.

Every post he makes has some sort of snide comment or childish shot at either CGN or Poly.

His latest post (in the turn thread) repeats, for the second time, his allegation that CGN is lying about being able to continue fighting (he seems to think they don't actually have any troops on galleys offshore). Priceless, from the cheater himself.
