Friggin' Germanics backed out and made peace with Carthage... but I was able to bribe them back into the MA the next turn.

The Bab city in the NW has been captured... under our variant rules, that is one of two total that I can capture from them during wars independently launched by them. Now, onto the NE city, and that will be my limit of their cities (unless Nathan enlists them in an MA). It's an interesting ploy, actually... he is now disincented to entering into an MA with one of my two direct neighbors!!

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

It occurred to me that there maybe a case where you may be better off to raze a crap city and capture a better.

You gain the open land to plant yet another city of your own. Is razing out?

Raze and re-plant falls under the same rules as capture, and is allowed. At least that's my sense.

I have a feeling we are going to allow CFs as well, under the same rules.
