I considered putting Paiktis on ignore some time ago but eventually decided not to. He is one of 2 or 3 posters I use as a quality control check. By occasionally comparing the coherence and content of other peoples posts to his I have a standard to judge whether they are lucid, sane individuals or not.

Paiktis is really a good guy at heart. He might enjoy trolling a bit to much but he really doesn't harm any one.

I used to find pattycakes a bit annoying but, to be fair, after I sorted a few things out in my own life I can now manage amused tolerance of (most of) his posts. The same goes for a few others.

There is one person on my ignore list - a jerk who was prone to seeking debates on his terms and then getting stroppy when you would not play that way and let him win.

I enjoy reading a lot of what goes on in OT, even if I disagree (in which case it goes to confirming my own views anyway - reassuring really! ).

I can't say I've never had anyone on my ignore list. I have put myself on the ignore list once. But never anyone else.

It seems wimpy. Like you are afraid of someone's words.
