The alignment is off, the spacing is wrong, even when compensating for stellar drift over the past 4,500 years what you're left with is a mere approximation. As a matter of fact, the closest match between the pyramids and Orion's belt occurred in 10,500 BCE (appx. 8,000 years before the pyramids were built) - and even then, it's nowhere close to "matching" mathematically. |
The Great Pyramid and the Sphinx WERE built in 10500 BC. |
No they weren't. They were built in 2,500 BCE.
You're just trolling me, aren't you?

I'm a tad skeptical, but the article cited ancient Hindu drawings of aircraft. Hell, if Da Vinci could imagine them way before his time, surely a whole culture (more willing to accept) could build them?
And I don't believe in aliens building the pyramids. We doubt the ancient civilisations too much.

John, not neccessarily. I have said that I am not 100% certain of alien influence in Egypt. There is some speculation, based on odd bits of information here and there that gods come from the sky, that Orion is where aliens are supposed to be from, etc. That's the interesting theory, mind you, implying not only that aliens have something to do with Egyptians, but that they are actually also the Biblical God. If I wasn't lazy, I'd write up something about that, but fact is, I am .
For a really serious discussion, I can debate very strongly and for long about moden ufology, so you can challenge me on that. Or if I ever stop being too lazy to write a summary of that alien-ancient theory.... hmm!

If you didn't realise, the "aircraft" drawings were in fact flying saucers that used centrifrugal force to generate counter-gravity, thats what I understand from one the article.
Bear in mind these are reproduced drawings from the original texts.
So uh, here's a link, but its not all of it, but that's all I have time for, now.

quote: ...a single projectile
Charged with all the power of the Universe.
An incandescent column of smoke and flame
As bright as the thousand suns
Rose in all its splendour...
a perpendicular explosion
with its billowing smoke clouds...
...the cloud of smoke
rising after its first explosion
formed into expanding round circles
like the opening of giant parasols...
..it was an unknown weapon,
An iron thunderbolt,
A gigantic messenger of death,
Which reduced to ashes
The entire race of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas.
...The corpses were so burned
As to be unrecognisable.
The hair and nails fell out;
Pottery broke without apparent cause,
And the birds turned white.
After a few hours
All foodstuffs were infected... |

They're reproductions, mind you.
And then labelled?
Its like translating stuff from Chinese to Pinyin.
