Jamski was quite impressed with the Dry Wind Scimitar I had made by the bloke in the City Core - and he's right, I should be using it all the time. It's only from the +1 scimitar I took from Gulnan though, so if I was to turn up in the armourer's with a +2 scimitar and some adamantine would I:
(a) Get exactly the same sword again,
(b) Get a +2 Dry Wind Scimitar, or
(c) Be told to bugger off because he can only make one in each game?

Things are really quiet at 'poly's nether regions today, and so I took the opportunity to go to the Bioware site and have a look at the Dragonlance world under construction. Bloody hell - it looks, and sounds, wonderful. The idea is phenomenal, and the alterations they are having to make to the code are pretty major, so it sounds like a massive project. They said that it would be a bigger download than HotU!!!
(I'd like to make it clear that I have no idea how long it would take to download HotU, and have no interest in doing so. )

Very nice.
One question: why so many fighter and WM levels? If you wanted to, you could just make it a Rogue 27/Fighter 6/WM 7. That would get you Ki Critical and Increased Multiplier (the two big WM feats), plus Epic Weapon Specialization. You'd also have a sneak attack of at least +14d6 (more with Improved Sneak), compared to +7d6 with your build. Trying to imagine how this build would be made...
Rogue 1, Dodge, Expertise
Fighter 1
Fighter 2, Mobility, Focus (kukri)
Fighter 3
Fighter 4, Spring Attack
Fighter 5, Weapon Specialization
Rogue 2
Rogue 3
Rogue 4, WW Attack
WM 1
WM 2
WM 3, Power Attack
WM 4
WM 5
WM 6, Cleave
WM 7
Rogue 5
Rogue 6, Improved Crit
Rogue 7
Rogue 8
Fighter 6, Epic Focus, Epic Spec (Kukri)
Rogue from there on out.
At level 20, this Kukri Monster variant would have a BAB of 12+6=18 (giving you the four attacks/round with your main weapon).
Problem with this build is that you don't get the two-weapon feats until much later. I suppose we could alleviate this by taking more fighter levels at the expense of rogue levels...
Also, can someone verify for me if prestige classes are considered when figuring the XP penalty for multiclassing? (IIRC, they shouldn't in 3.5e...)

OK then. However, if I'm not mistaken, the BAB progression for everyone once they hit level 21 is +1 per 2 levels... so the extra fighter/WM levels would only really affect the BAB as long as they were all taken before level 20 (except the one needed to get Epic Spec). Granted, that conviently ignores Superior Weapon Focus.
So I'll revise that to Rogue 15/Fighter 12/WM 13. If its first 20 levels go Rogue 1/Fighter 11/WM 8, then it'd have a BAB of +19, +2 from Focus and Superior Focus. At 40 levels, its BAB would be +29, +3 from Focus and Epic Focus, +3 from Superior Focus, plus strength and enchantment bonuses.
...and with Haste and all the dual-wield feats, this beast would have SEVEN attacks per round. (Or is it capped at six in NWN? I know that in stock 3rd edition, there's no cap, plus there are extra dual-wield feats, such that one could get up to 8 attacks before Haste... )
