some of my troops wandered off the reservation into Dutch territory. they have messaged back that they are drinking "beer" and also something about "blonds," whatever that means. Our monarchial presence has no idea what they are talking about. Should be able to find out tomorrow. Likely it was all a big mistake.

non-twaddle-wish-wash doesn't really translate well. in my ancestral tounge, I believe the term you are searching for is "blarney"

i didn't even know the proper word in german. then i looked up some slang ("wischiwaschi")... and was surprised that it existed. 2 translatiosn: twaddle and wish-wash. didn't know which was better, so i took both

A rather peculiar chain of events has led to the Arabs disbanding their 2nd newly acquired town. The dutch claim to have gifted this town to the Arabs “by mistake” - the town in question being situated on the doorstep of the fine Byzantine town of Lake Varna.

When this city exchanged rule last turn, A Byzantine pikeman moved next to it so as to get a good view of what was going on. This pike was within our boarders. However it appears as if this move has been miss-interpreted as an inevitable attack, and so the town was torched?

Byzantine wish to publicly confirm that it was never our intention to attack this town. We are prepared to leave the now vacant spot for the Dutch to reclaim.

Again – we have no further quarrel with the Arabs, now that they have vacated the holy sites on our north western Jungle Peninsula. We have no wish for further bloodshed.

Byzantine note the three Arab Galleys sailing north of Jungle Peninsula, within strike range of the town ‘Western Lookout’. We hope that the situation will not escalate into further violence, and ask the Arabs to clarify their intentions?

To be honest i'm not very sure on that one, rommel. It was mentioned in alexman's instructions mostly as something he would take care of in the ad 70 turn, as he did ... nothing to the reason it was gifted...
