Yep. It's in the "sounds homo-gay when spoken by a male, but lovely when spoken by a female"-category together with Italian and Swedish.

Danish is worst. Norwegian, Icelandic, Finnish, Sindarin, Quenya, Guarani, Inuktitut, R2 Unit, and Hawaiian are best.

Well, actually only if the person speaking swedish was from the region of Dalarna.

The reason for this is that the inspiration for the chef in the muppets came after the creator seeing a swedish chef on american TV that was somewhat nervous and started to speak for himself with his heavy dialect.

I don't think Danish sounds bad. I rather like it. But I think it's amazing that it can be so hard to understand sometimes when the written language is almost identical to Norwegian (I speak Norwegian). It's as if they have a speech impediment or something
