Drugs suck, in general, I agree. But the subject here is Weed. And many many people are happier smokin weed everyday. It's not for me but it is for others. And I respect that.
How many vilent crimes have you heard about related to weed. How many overdoses? Weed was legal until someone made it illegal in the Washington era.
Weed was used to make ropes, make up, paper and clothes. And it can be used today to make methanol gas (for cars). With 1000000 sq. f. you can make 15 times more paper with weed than with trees over 5 years. Because weed grows back imediatly, tree take over 20 years. Imagine how much paper you can make in 20 years!! And Male weed plants dont produce any buds so they could only plant male plants to make paper. Millions of forest aqers could be saved if the freakin thing wasn't so taboo!
2 of the worst polution problems could be partialy solved with the Marijuana plant.

And I bet you didnt know that.

You've supplied the standard 1 liners in the Guide to Weed Advocacy and Propaganda Handbook

The benevolent weed smoker who never hurts anybody is the biggest myth and the biggest joke I have ever heard. I've seen it firsthand. What happens the next day when you come down and are all pissed off because you need a fix? What happens when you are so jacked up that you have no idea what the hell you are doing?

About making ropes, etc, that has absolutley nothing to do with smoking it. Paint is used to beautify buildings but that doesn't give it any more credibilty to use as a drug.

But hey, find a new playbook because that one has already been played out.

As far as being narrow minded and judgemental, hey, there's a big difference between that and just outright telling someone to stop being a dumbass. duh.

There are just a bunch of things that are bad for you and, in my personal opinion, marijuana is very low on the list.

Well I don't know how old you are. I've personally seen that sh1t abused more than enough times to count. The most annoying thing is the "it's just pot," crowd.

Then at age 30 they wonder why they have quit their job and they are scared of noises in the dark all the time.

We aren't talking about prohibition and I've already had this argument with you years ago.

Pot has always been a social experience for me. I don't see why social problems should complicate this.
