Beta, what do you mean by a "classics conflict"?
Be gentle. |
Nothing too rough. Simply means that the civs are restricted to the classical civs - Rome, Greece, Babs, Egyptians, Persians, Carthage, Sumerians, Hittites - I think I have them all. They all have UU's in the ancient era, which adds an interesting twist. I am not hung up on this approach though. And before one of the more astute historians around here comes down on my head - I acknowledge that I have clearly stretched the term 'classical'.
Other game options are random civs, and possibly random settings, Or we determine the order of choice through some means, and everyone picks a civ.
Or better yet - if we have a month of pre-game time, around 50-60 spare hours, and PhD's in math, we can ask Rommel2D to come in and develop a new method of civ choice. Theseus - for this you will need to check the original Double Blind thread - not the turn thread but the original.
Sorry Rom - couldn't resist.
