Polling Report put the Time poll up. Apparently, the Bush and Kerry totals pushed leaners in the post-convention poll, but did not push leaners in the pre-convention poll (which was 46-44-5 in a 3-way race, 46-46 in a two-way race). It's a bounce, but not as big (and still bigger than in the other polls). The specific question, FWIW:
quote:
"Suppose the 2004 election for president were being held today, and you had to choose between John Kerry and John Edwards, the Democrats, and George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, the Republicans. For whom would you vote?" If undecided: "Even though you haven't made up your mind yet, do you lean more toward supporting Kerry or Bush?" |
And I'm still waiting for some battleground state polls.
