the babylonian people are somewhat frustrated to see mongolia's extreme propaganda machine! not a single war has been started by our proud nation, we were attacked and provoked in every single case. yet the liars in the mongolian press and governement pretend that they are the innocents!

such ignorance, untruthfulness and propaganda has never been seen in this world and can not even be matched by the propaganda used in nazi germany and stalinistic russia!

for those who read the unbiased papers of arabia and netherlands will see that the babylonians may have acted agressively to the other countries' assaults, but are at least honest about it.
liberated cities are flurishing with railroad networks, libraries, universities. culture is being spread everywhere!
paid worker teams (not slaves!) are being recruited to convert the wild jungles into liveable lands.

and to clarify one issue: not a single innocent has died! the only death toll are the poor soldiers who act under the command of their terroristic governments! we offered each and every one of them a place in our nation but they were blinded by the lies and propaganda of the mongolian leader! at least their souls won't rott in hell like the souls of the terrorists in the governments!

though our units were caught off-guard and many brave babylonian soldier lost their lives in the coup, we have managed to rid our lands of the smell of the permanently farting spanish knights (at this point we would like to recommend you change your soldier's eating habits because it really is disgusting!). all our units will have recovered by the next year and we will pursue the goal of ridding the world of terrorists!

dear despots and dictators of the world

we come together to inform you that the sumerian leader has perished when he lost control of the very last people who still supported him.

babylonain naval scouts saw the sumerian settler wandering along the mongolian coast and so our wounded soldiers took the oportunity to offer the settlers a valuable place in the great empire of babylon. the settlers happily agreed and left the sumerian king without kingdom. he has been exiled on the island st. helena.


OOC: many players are not aware of the fact that one can capture units from sea even without berserkers and marines, as long as the captured units are not defended by another unit or a city/colony. smellymummy knew about this feature as i had captured 3 of his trebuchets earlier in the game like that.

thanks to smellymummy for playing it out this far and sorry i started with you! but with the needless bombardment of my caravels you gave me the idea of a surprise attack which worked surprisingly well

too bad you did not have fresh water! you lost the whole bonus of the agricultural trait until monarchy. also, your lands where not in a great form, making corruption suboptimal (chrisius and i have the capital in a quite central location making this ideal).

i hope you have better luck in TLTTF!

nice game guys.. it's true about the fresh water. it was great to finally get some water in though, even if all the work ended up for sabre.

and i have to remember about units being able to amphibiously land on 0 defense units. maybe its because ive never had the AI do it to me

and vs player experiences arent that many. highspeed is afterall my 3rd or 4th pbem

pity you are surrendering. i was looking for some resistance and your cavalry would be exactly what i'd need as oposing force. it would slow down my attack as i'd have to defend my own cavalry...

but it's your decision... i had the momentum, the slight technological edge and met surprisingly little resistance.
