Not me, Jamaica. They got hit, but they didn't take the full brunt of the storm.

As much as I don't like being hit by hurricanes, we can stand it a lot better 3rd world countries, and we can recover more quickly.

Jamaica is going to take a long time recovering from this. The US can recover quickly as federal aid money is cleared up for repairs.

Having done some work for Christ in Honduras, I echo the above mentioned sentiments. I saw the aftermath of Hurrican Mitch and sad what a Hurricane will do to a less strong country in respect to infrastructure and aid....

Prayers for those who do end up in the path

Pary for Castro as well as he stated no aid from the US will be accepted

Still has to hit Florida before it hits Alabama, even if it hits Mobile dead on. We really don't need to get clobbered in the panhandle as well. But, better there than where I'm trying to find work (Tampa).

I've been to New Orleans twice.. nice city. But it has a big problem... it is built on some rather unstable land that could flood very easily..

I don't believe there are any within 200 miles of Florida (Jeb, despite being a Republican, is admantly oppsed to oil wells anywhere near Florida), except maybe out from Alabama and Mississippi. Those rigs are made to take it anyways. If they can stand up to North Sea winters, they can stand up to hurricanes.

IF we make an average path from all the paths show, it seems that it will pass directly between Cuba and the yucatan. The impact on it's power is completely unpredictable, like how the Bahamas stopped Frances.
