In my even more extensive experience, I found that everyone likes hip-hop and rap. Only homosexuals seem to be anti-rap, due to the anti-homosexual stance taken by the majority of the artists in the genre.

Alright, how'd this: The absolute dumbest portion of the navy, who are undesignated Deck seamen because they scored so low on their ASVB they can't even be cooks, watches ****ing BET 24 in berthing, and enjoy breaking out into sponatneous rap during the rare (inport) instances the tv isn't turned to that channel.

All rap is is the same damn beat over and over again. You know why Outcast's "Shake it" was so popular? Because it was the only damn original hip-hop in years

That said, I also dislike Pop music, and quite a bit of country.

In all seriousness, I agree with you that most rap is stale. That's true of all musical genres, though, as I said earlier. At its best, hip-hop is the most dynamic and exciting musical form out there right now. And its best has been getting better in recent years; a lot of young producers are coming up and making some great stuff.
