Does anyone have a good summary of the differences between the BCS computer rankings? The computer rankings are pretty consistent for the 1 - 3 BCS teams, but starting with #4, they really start to differ.

Appriciate the congrats, Grandpa Troll. Those were some hellacious games for Carolina. The Carolina team that beat Miami though, could have beaten ANY team in college football that night. Saturday was the best night I've ever had at Carolina.

Anyway, again, thanks for the congrats. I hate the hell out of some State, I'm not gonna lie. You're right about Phillip Rivers though. Imagine his offense with this years Pack defense. Scary. He was a stand out guy, too.

Hey, Auburn - UGA I want to see. Virginia - Maryland???? that game is gonna suck!
Oregon - Cal appears to be the best game on the schedule (it should be the closest with 2 very good offenses). And anyway, I only came to Atlanta so my wife could do a fellowship with the CDC. If it weren't for her, I'd have never left Los Angeles.

Well... that may be short notice to do a Poly meet... perhaps something could be worked out on a lesser scale (than a full scale Poly Meet... that usually implies 3 or more ) though .

I told you Oregon - Cal would be a way better game than Virginia - Maryland. That said, Cal won by the hair of their chinny chin chin.

TN goes down. The amazing thing was at the beginning of the season, some thought they had too many QBs. Turns out, they don't have enough.

OU vs. A&M was a lot closer than I thought it would be. After last year 77-0 and A&M losing to Baylor last week, I thought OU would win in a blow out.

Wisconsin - MN wasn't that close and I didn't think it would be.

If I were a poll voter, I honestly would not know who I'd have at #1. You could make a very compelling case for any of the unbeatens, including Utah.

I'd have an awful hard time putting Utah anywhere lower than #3... hard to believe that there are one-loss teams ahead of them.

Which is why i think they should do away with strength of schedule in the BCS.

They are already penalized for it in the polls.

The big problem with strength of schedule is that teams from stronger conferences are afraid of scheduling games against the up and comers from weaker conferences. They won't do it unless they get 2 home games to 1 at a minimum.

Strength of Schedule blows. Consider the ranking of the opponent when they are played, not what they end up at. Injuries play too big a part in College ball (Look at Tennesee, they are not nearly as good as when the season started).
