Round 1, Final Results
Sans Sheep's battles. Sheep, please send orders for both the last leg of this round AND the first leg of the next round. The fight programme is at the end of this post. I'll be sending a PM reminder as well. You have 24 hours. If you're too busy to play, please let me know so that I can arrange for a fill-in or something.
Battle 1: Jamski-San vs. Emperor Commodus
1. Tired of the abysmal first half of the battle, Jamski lashes out on the unwary Commodus and scores 10 points of damage. The Emperor, however, merely laughs at the scratch and slaps Jamski with the side of his sword for 15 points of damage.
2. Feeling quite worried now, Jamski throws everything he's got at Commodus. The man however evades all of his strikes like a ghost and to top it off hits Jamski again for 10 points of damage.
3. In a final attempt Jamski charges at Commodus as if possessed, but Commodus steps away from his way and kicks Jamski in the knee for 10 more points of damage.
Jamski falls down on the ground unconscious (with 45 HP), and Bob declares 'the Emperor' (with 85 HP) winner.
Battle 2: Emperor Commodus vs. Lord Drogue
1. Starting at 91 HP, Drogue sneaks by Commodus's guard and throws him off his feet for 5 points of damage. While falling, however, Commodus makes Drogue a hole for a colostomy bag for 33 points of damage. Drogue staggers after the blow but keeps standing.
2. "I'm impressed", scoffs Commodus, and goes for another attack. He pushes his blade into the shoulder of Drogue's shield arm - but finds his own pierced as well. Drogue receives 33 more points of damage and Commodus receives 24. The audience goes wild at the maneuvre, and Commodus's steps too start to waver.
3. Barely standing up with massive bleeding, Drogue makes one last effort to balance out the seemingly unfair fight. Commodus takes a nasty hit to the groin for 23 points. The Lord of Antoine falls to the ground gasping for air. Commodus steps on his chest, for a final insult to injury of 5 points of damage, before having to sit down himself.
Commodus (with 48 HP) is undefeated; Drogue is rushed to the infirmary after receiving a whopping 80 points of damage..
Battle 3: Lord Drogue vs. Captain Flint
1. The two go back to eyeing each other menacingly. "Come on, shed us some BLOOD!" "Blood! Blood! Blood!" taunt the audience.
2. Drogue of Antoine gathers up his strength and attacks Flint head on. The pirate is alert, however, and deflects the powerful attack completely.
3. Flint accepts his fate and sits down on the ground, Drogue is puzzled but shrugs and follows suite.
After a moment of rolling his eyes at the fighters, Bob declares Drogue (100 HP) the winner over Flint (89 HP).
(Note: there was a miscalculation in leg 1, Drogue only did 11 points of damage in the 3rd round.)
Battle 4: Captain Flint vs. Spacius Maximus
1.-3. After the battle Bob sighs. "The worst six rounds in the tournament but there's a lot of the tournament left. I've gotta start using lions at this rate." A tie without a single scratch.
Battle 5: Spacius Maximus vs. The Doctor
1. Spacius hops around the arena with The Doctor chasing him with his sword. "Finally all will see your true nature, coward!" The Doctor spits. "I call it a tactical withdrawal", replies Spacius inbetween breaths. The audience is amused for a moment, but only a moment.
2. The Doctor grabs a handful of dirt and throws it in Spacius's general direction. Spacius, however, manages to avoid this fierce attack and keeps galloping.
3. "I can't believe I declared this the highlight of the round", Bob mutters, and declares Spacius the victor (100 HP vs. 94 HP).
Battle 6: The Doctor vs. Jack the Knife
1.-3. After the utterly brutal first three rounds, the action grinds to a halt, with both licking their wounds. The Doctor with 62 HP is finally declared winner; Jack the Knife loses with 52.
Battle 7: Jack the Knife vs. Trident Guy
